The Degree course of Veterinary Sciences is of 5 years & 6 months.
- 1st YEAR PROGRAM
During this one year, students have to spend time in various departments viz. Veterinary Anatomy, Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry an Livestock Production Management (LPM).
- 2st YEAR PROGRAM
During this year, students will go through courses and practicals of four departments viz. Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Pathology, Animal Genetics & breeding and Animal Nutrition.
- 3rd YEAR PROGRAM
During this year, students will gain knowledge from Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, Veterinary Parasitology, Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry extension Education, Livestock Products Technology, Veterinary Clinical Practices-1 and Livestock Farm Practices.
- 4th YEAR PROGRAM
The duration of this programme will be one year six months. Students will be trained in clinical subjects viz. Veterinary Surgery, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Veterinary Clinical Practices-II
- INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Internship is compulsory and will be of one year. Students will provisionally registered by Veterinary Council of State and will devote full time in providing clinical services under the supervision of the teachers.
